On Monday, State Representative Steve Reick (R-Woodstock) met with new Congresswoman Lauren Underwood to discuss elements of his legislative agenda that could be affected by action at the federal level. The two lawmakers met at Reick’s district legislative office in Woodstock.
Items discussed included the infrastructure and expansion improvements proposed for Route 47 through the 63rd District, increasing Illinois’ Medicaid reimbursement rate to a rate higher than 50%, and amendinng Chapter 9 of the Federal Bnkrupty Code to allow for structured bankruptcy for state pension plans in Illinois.
