The Illinois Auditor General’s compliance report released yesterday expressed an adverse opinion on DCFS’ lack of compliance and material and pervasive misstatements regarding the subject matter of the examination. In some cases, indicated investigative reports were not sent to State’s Attorneys offices for almost 3 years after issuance. When is the Pritzker Administration going to hold this Agency accountable?
