The Fire Prevention and Life Safety Award received by DC Matt Hedges of Woodstock Fire/Rescue District is an award in recognition of the extraordinary efforts performed by individuals in furtherance of fire prevention and life safety. The award is given by the Office of the State Fire Marshal to an individual or department that contributes to safety through the prevention of fire.
