Rep. Reick to host document shredding, ‘coffee and conversation’ events in July

WOODSTOCK –State Representative Steve Reick (R-Woodstock) is hosting public events in July, including a free document shredding event and an opportunity for coffee and conversation.

Reick and State Representative Tom Weber (R-Lake Villa) will host a free paper shredding event on Saturday July 20 from 9 a.m. to noon at the McHenry Township Building located at 3703 North Richmond Road in Johnsburg.

This free event is a good opportunity for local residents to protect themselves from identity theft by securely destroying documents containing personal information. Due to volume constraints, those attending the event are asked to limit the quantity of documents to two bankers boxes or similarly-sized containers. In addition, non-perishable food items will be collected for the McHenry Township Food Pantry.

Local residents are invited to stop by and have a cup of coffee and a conversation with Rep. Reick about the issues that are important to them on Saturday July 13 at the Windhill Pancake Parlor at 3307 W. Elm Street in McHenry from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., or Monday July 22 at Nick’s Kozy Nook located at 1200 N. Division Street, #1, in Harvard. It runs from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. For more information, please contact Rep. Reick’s office at (815) 880-5340 or reick@ilhousegop.org.
